Hush Limiter is a parental control application for Android designed to limit device volume to protect children's hearing. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our own servers. All settings are stored locally on your device.
Data Stored Locally
The following data is stored exclusively on your device using Android SharedPreferences and never leaves it:
- –Volume limit setting (percentage value)
- –PIN code used to protect parental settings
- –Service activation state (enabled / disabled)
- –Ad removal purchase status
Third-Party Services
The app integrates the following third-party services which may collect data according to their own policies:
Google AdMob
Used to display advertisements in the free version of the app. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers, device information, and usage data to serve relevant ads.
Google Play Billing
Used to process the one-time in-app purchase to remove ads. Payment data is handled entirely by Google Play.

Children's Privacy
This app is designed to be used by parents, not children. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under the age of 13. The app's purpose is to protect children by allowing parents to set volume limits on shared or child-used devices.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise share your personal data with third parties. Anonymous advertising and analytics data may be processed by Google AdMob as described in their privacy policy.
Data Retention
All locally stored data (PIN, settings, purchase status) remains on your device for as long as the app is installed. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data permanently.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
